At Healing Spirit you can become attuned as a Reiki Healer using the Usui (original method), taught by a well qualified Reiki Master Teacher. The Reiki Master Teacher is a Teacher in his own right, with (Q.T.) status, in addition he is also a spiritual healer and counsellor and a cognitive hypnotherapist- of course we are talking about Greig! The Reiki Attunements take place in the Healing Spirit Sanctury in Berry Hill, near Coleford. Classes are deliberately kept small, no more than 4 - 5 people. This allows for questions to be asked in a safe and secure environment. Teaching is conducted in the Japanese traditional style, which is personal and on a one to one basis, even although there may be 3 other people in the Sanctuary, the aim is to ensure your success!
Prior to agreeing to attune you the Master Teacher must first speak to you, this is in order for him to meditate to see if he is allowed to attune you, it is believed that these instructions come from the essence of Dr. Mikao Usui himself, as well as other energies.
If the answer is yes then we will arrange dates and details of your attunement, in terms of preperation needs.
(Below: prior to attunement the Reiki Master/Teacher should be purified both physically and spiritually)
If the answer is no, then no explanation need be given, this is not a reflection on you, it may be that the teacher is not right for you, or that you may need to wait a while; this is in line with the traditional teachings of Dr. Usui - it does not matter if you have the money, but more the case are you ready? This is the essential difference from the traditional teaching, to those that are carried out in a number of colleges and other organisations - they take the money ready or not! Reiki Attunements:
Level 1 - 1st degree (2 full days) {hands on healing, self, family & friends}
Level 2 - 2nd degree (2 full days) (introduction of sacred sybols to allow distance healing and regestering as a healing practioner with the Reiki Federation}
Level 3 - Reiki Master Practitioner (1 full day- longer if necessary) {this is conducted on a 1:1 basis, additional information ahout Mastership will be explained)
Level 4 - Reiki Master - Teacher (1 full day for attunement, however, in addition to this, they are required to attune 1st, 2nd Degree, as well as Master Practioner and of course Master Teacher, adding an additional seven days minimum on to the course) {This is again is conducted on a 1:1 basis, it is only level fours [Reili Master Teachers] which allows you to attune other Reiki Healers}
