Absent Healing:

 Not everyone can come and visit The Healing Spirit Sanctuary, they may be a number of miles away, or even in foreign countries. It is for this reason we operate an absent healing service. This takes place both within the Healing Spirit Sanctuary, Flaxley Spiritual Development Group, The Coleford Spiritual Development Circle, The Essence and prayers are recited each day at 3.00 pm for Divine Mercy. If you, or someone you know is in need of healing, but is unable to get to us, just send a photograph and their name and we will ensure that healing is sent to them on a daily basis. Permission from the individual must first be given, since we cannot interfere with the will of others. Failing this just e-mail us the name of the person, please keep us updated on their progress.

As reasurance, when Absent Healing is being sent, it is done with sincerity, conviction of action and a pure heart. We believe that without this then the healing is working on a lower and slower vibration, and the person receiving the healing may not benefit from the experience. It is only in fellowship and unconditional  love that absent healing is sent from the Healing Spirit.

Absent Healing is sent through thought, word and deed. The thought being the intent of individuals and groups giving healing intention, the word being the names called out of those members and the group reciting the names of the individuals and of course the daily prayers recited. The deed is by the use of symbols, the burning of incense, lighting of votives and the ringing of bells and singing bowls in order to assist the vibration to move outwards from the core of the Sanctuary, or from the Healing Altar.

The chaplet of The Divine Mercy is recited each day at 3.00 pm by either Reverend Greig McNeish or a member of one of the development groups. You are more than welcome to join us in the reciting of the prayers, either at the Sanctuary or at home - you will know that your prayers will join ours for the healing of your friends and loved ones or even to the names on the list who you may not know.

It has been scientifically proven on a number of occassions, with replecation studies, that individuals who have had prayers said for them recover more quickly than those who do not. However, as well as prayers we shall be sending out Reiki Healing Energy, using the distance method.

Please note there is an absent healing page, this allows other groups and individuals to participate in this practice. If you wish we are happy to add your name to this list, but please let us know as a number of people may choose to receive the healing in private by Healing Spirit.

There is no cost for this service - you may wish to make a small donation to a charity of your own choice - not to Healing Spirit since this is part of our blessings that we send out.
