The Coleford Spiritual Development Circle
The Coleford Spiritual Development Circle is the first Spiritual Development Circle in Coleford. The group takes place in The Sanctuary at The Healing Spirit. The Circle is non-profit making, and is subsidised by the Reverend Greig McNeish. In the event that any profit is made then this is donated to one of the many charities Greig has raised money for in the past.
Every Monday Evening from 7.00 - 9.00 pm,
at The Sanctuary Berry Hill
Tea and Coffee to be served afterwards.
For those of you who know Greig, you are guaranteed to be put on the path of Spiritual Development and have a laugh whislt doing so, that being said the standard of teaching and learning is of the highest quality. For those who do not know Greig; he may seem a bit odd at times, he is direct and has a very dry sense of humour. There are very few people who really know Greig and those that do, hold him in the highest esteem. You can look at just some of his creditials in 'About Greig', on this site.

The Aim of the Group is to assist You in Your Spiritual Development, whatever that may be. Teaching is active and varied in terms of approaches used. This is a Development Group, therefore you will be expected to actively take part - since no one else can hand your development to you, sitting, talking and navel gazing gets you no where fast! Teachers and speakers within the group are qualified and experienced and are therefore able to assist and guide you in areas of spiritual development. The one thing to remember is that each person will develop at their own pace and find their own particular interest.
Emphasis is placed on developing:
- Mediumship
- Psychic Abilities
- Healing Abililities
If you are looking for a reading or message from the other side, this is not the group for you! I would recommend the Monmouth Spiritual Awareness Group, or you can book for a private reading from Greig.
Every three weeks there is a theme (Topic), and group members are provided with information on this theme, to see whether or not they would wish to take this further.
All topics have a pracical aspect that we would encourage and assist you to put into action, as mentioned before this is a Development Group and not just a talking shop!
Topics covered are taught by highly qualified teachers and practitioners, as a development group we believe that it is vital that you have access to the best teachers in the field - and they don't come more qualified than ours!
Visiting practioners are also monitored and their credentials checked to ensure the quality of teaching and learning remains in a state of excellence.
There is a schedulle of events, these are planned 8 weeks in advance, We have our own curriculum that is specifically designed for Spiritual Development, however, we also actively seek from group members topics they would wish to see covered.
There is also Group Meditation, usually guided - until people are able to Meditate on their own without guidance.
There is also a practical aspect of the evening, where you get the chance to put into practice some of the teachings.
If some of the members of the group show an interest and display a good level of talent, then they may be asked to accompany Greig, as a fledgling, to the various Churches and Groups in the area.
In addition to this there is also a healing slot, where absent healing is sent to the names read out.
For those of you in need of healing yourself there are a few Reiki Healers, who might be willing to give you a top up. Any Reiki Healers working will have already shown Greig their credentials, and of course Reiki Healers must be at practitioner level - in other words Reiki 2nd as a minimum before they can work in the group. Other forms of Healing, such as Spiritual Healing may also be available, provided they too have shown Greig their appropriate credentials.
One thing last thing, the Coleford Spiritual Development Group is open to people from all walks of life and belief systems, Equality of Opportunity and Diversity are not just words, but are put into practice.
There is an altar in the group, where people might want to light votives or bring pictures of loved ones who are sick or have passed over.
