Healing Spirit Training & Development Courses:

Healing Spirit run a number of Training and Professional Development Courses. These can be stand alone or form part of an individual's portfolio of Certificates of Continuing Professional Development.

At Healing Spirit we believe that in order to  be the best healers possible, we should remain at the cutting edge of practice. That is why we embrace the concept of Continuing Professional Development. For practioners this will mean attending additional training in their field or subject, as we always have something new to learn. The benefits for our clients is that they get the best practitioners possible.

Reiki (Usui) Courses are run each month for:

• 1st Degree
• 2nd Degree (Practitioner)
• 3rd Degree Master Practitioner
• 4th Level - Master Teacher

As mentioned under the Reiki Attunements traditional teaching takes place; in practical terms classes are about 4 students, this ensures that individualised teaching takes place. For Master Practitioners there are a maximum of 2 students, and for Master Teacher's this is conducted on a 1:1 basis. It should be noted that Healing Spirit are the only organisation to teach Reiki in the traditional Japanese style in a specialised environment.

From 2nd Degree (practitioner) successful candidates are entitled to join the Reiki Federation. The Reiki Federation will assist with insurances for those people who begin their own practice, or indeed work for others. Reiki Master Teachers at Healing are fully qualified, experienced, and are insured to teach this subject.

Spiritual Healing and Counselling:

Spiritual Healing taught at The Healing Spirit is also taught in small groups, which allows for individualised teaching. A comprehensive range of subjects and workshops are established for this training. Following the formal training contact with the Lecturer/trainer is required, prior to the Certificate being awarded. The counselling aspect of this course follows the Cognitive Behaviour Therapuetic approach. This course requires participants to write up two case studies, each being a period of 8 hours.

The Spiritual Healing Course requires 90% attendance of 40 hours direct teaching (all topics identified within the course will be required to be covered), with an additional 16 hours of practice, during the practice you will have the minimum of one direct observation by the trainer.

This course is very intensive and follows a curriculum and syllabus established by Greig, who has 21 years of post qualifying experience, following a 4 year long Spiritual Healing course in London. 

As some of you are aware Greig's background is Psychology, Education - including teaching as well as setting standards for Education in terms of Teaching & Learning from Nursery's through to Colleges of Higher Education. So please be aware the standards of Teaching and Learning will be extremely high, and the course will be rigorous - therefore think carefully before committing yourself to become a Spiritual Healer. There are less rigorous courses about, if you wish to compromise on Teaching & Learning!

An alternative to the full time course is now available; this is an evening course; 2 hours per week. Participants are still required to complete 16 hours of practice before qualifying. In addition to the evening classes weekend courses are also available. All part-time courses run within an accademic year.

On completion of the course successful participants will be able to register themselves as Spiritual Healers should they wish to join as members with:

The Healers International Network.

Kabbalah Studies

The Healing Spirit is the 1st non-Jewish Institute for Traditional Kabbalah Studies in the U.K.

Kabbalah studies now take place at The Healing Spirit every Wednesday Evenings, except for Holy Days. If you are interested please contact Greig at Healing Spirit. It should be noted that this course is open to non-jews, and to women, we recognise that this is not in line with orthodox Jewish tradition. However, we at Healing Spirit along with The Kabbalah Centre wish to spread The Light and teachings from this wonderful source of learning.

Prior to joining these studies please speak to Greig with regards to ettiquete when studying any aspect of Kabbalah.
